6th Grade PE
This course is offered to provide physical learning experiences which are broad in scope and which emphasize the establishment of good attitudes, sports skills and knowledge, and physical improvement. Activities include: basketball, colony ball, fitness, flag football, indoor tennis, kick ball, relays, soccer, ultimate Frisbee and football, volleyball, walker ball, and other group games.
Bible
The sixth grade Bible curriculum focuses on the study of Old and New Testament characters related to our character education traits. Our goal is to teach students how to apply these lessons to their daily lives and follow the Godly examples given to us from the Bible. We will also include some lessons on manners and we will provide time for devotions and prayer requests each week.
Social Studies
We will begin our study with the ancient civilization of Mesopotamia and end our year with the Renaissance. This study focuses on the ways that history has influenced our culture and gives students the opportunity to explore the lifestyles of ancient civilizations.
