HIGH SCHOOL COUNSELING
The primary goal of the High School Counseling Department at Boyd Buchanan School is to encourage both students and parents to be actively involved and preparing for their future in considering appropriate yet challenging college preparatory educational options.
Mrs. Moore can work with students in various capacities, based on his/her individual needs such as individual or small group setting with an organization, study/test-taking skills, social, and personal counseling as well.
Other services include college advisement; academic advisement; career counseling; scholarship and financial aid counseling; personal and social counseling.

Melisa holds a B.A. from TN Technological University in Sociology, with a concentration in Social Work and an M. Ed. from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in School Counseling.
