Raising the Bar
We remain committed to being the “rare and special place” where students receive a Christ-centered education.
From talented teachers and rigorous academic programs to competitive athletics and engaging social activities, Boyd Buchanan School offers an enriching co-educational experience for preK thru 12th grade.
Raising Hands and Leaders
Situated today on a picturesque 58-acre campus, Boyd Buchanan School has a student body of more than 925 students in grades Pre-K through 12.
In addition to our top-notch academic curriculum in every school, the Boyd Buchanan experience provides many amazing opportunities for students to embrace challenges with “joy, courage and wisdom.”
We are building, growing and expanding. The campus has seen tremendous growth and expansion in recent years including – a new science lab for the middle school, outdoor playscape and library for the elementary school, student life center and atrium for the high school, and coming Fall 2017 a new Wrestling and Strength Facility for students and staff, and a renovated Jett Gym with state-of-the-art flooring, sound and a new ceiling.
We are Buccaneers. We are exploratory, ambitious, and resourceful. The Bucs and Lady Bucs give students a chance to learn more about camaraderie, team-building, leadership, sportsmanship and pride through athleticism.
We recruit best-in-class teachers, coaches and staff who challenge students to grow and flourish spiritually and academically.
We provide the latest academic resources needed to guide, shape and empower our students and faculty to be the best versions of themselves.
We foster spiritual growth. Most importantly, BBS is dedicated to promoting spiritual growth and inspire a spirit of servanthood in students, families, and faculty. Spiritual life is not just a segment of our day, it is how we seek to live every day.
"The most beneficial part was that I pushed myself to take the AP and accelerated courses. I was very pleased to get to college with 17 credit hours, a whole semester under my belt! Dual enrollment completely paid off!"
Haley Kinser, Class of 2013
"The biggest thing BBS did was teach me study habits. The upper level classes that were offered taught me how to be dedicated to studying and has led me to being successful in college."
Grant Mathis, Alumni c/o 2010
"I was fully equipped with study skills and the ability to lead both inside and out of the classroom. Boyd taught me to expect more from myself and to continually push myself."
Andrew Peace, Alumni c/o 2012
"The teachers cared about us succeeding and doing well, without sacrificing good teaching for good grades. Some teachers taught exactly like professors at Lipscomb. My high school experiences really prepared me for college."
Margaret Rox, Alumni c/o 2012
