Messages for students will be delivered only in case of a medical emergency. All other messages will be posted on the message board for students to retrieve between classes.
Students, please turn in your Handbook/Acceptable Use Agreement form by this Friday, August 14. Any student planning to drive should purchase a parking tag from the high school office.
Backpacks are not to be left in the hallway. Please place your backpack on top of the lockers or on the shelves.
REMINDER: All medication, whether prescription or over-the-counter, must have a yellow medication consent form accompanying it and must be turned in to the nurse. Prescription medicine must have a doctor’s note. The office will not supply any medication.
SENIORS – Disney deposit ($100) and $25 senior fee are due Friday, August 14, to Mrs. Hood. Any senior who has not had senior portraits made should schedule a time with Lifetouch as soon as possible. See Mrs. Jones if you have questions.
Information sheets for the fall break mission trip to the City of Children orphanage in Ensenada, Mexico are now available in Mr. Ingram’s classroom (J2) and in the high school office. Passports will be required for the trip.
All juniors and seniors attending the mentoring retreat should meet at BBS at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow evening beside the Jett gym where the big bus is parked. We will return at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
Parent Council News:
Please join Parent Council today!! Dues are only $25.00 per family, even if you have students in both elementary and secondary grades. Membership forms are available in both middle school and high school offices. Please make checks payable to BBS and place form and check in the Parent Council envelope located in either office.
Student Directory: Updated directory information sheets and directory orders may be submitted through August 31. Forms are available in both middle school and high school offices. Cost is $5.00 and checks should be made payable to BBS. Payment must accompany order and may be left in PC envelope in either middle school or high school office. Please write separate checks for Parent Council Dues and Student Directory.
Spirit Shop Fall Hours: Thursdays 3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. and prior to all high school home football games.
If you are interested in purchasing the semester meal plan or the year meal plan, contact the cafeteria manager.
Early registration for the September 12 ACT has passed. Late registration is available through August 21. Registration may be completed on line at www.act.org.

Middle School Volleyball
Middle school girls’ volleyball tryouts are Wednesday and Thursday. The teams will practice Friday until 5:30 p.m. We have a middle school playday on Saturday at BBS. We will need parents to work the gate, run the concession stand, line judge and keep score.
