As we move through April and celebrate Easter, we remember that Jesus didn’t stay in the grave. He rose again. But even now, we are still waiting. We are waiting for Jesus to return, to make all things new, and to fully restore what is broken in our world.

We are excited to announce Charles Fant as the next head coach of Buccaneer Football, continuing a strong tradition of developing student-athletes who pursue excellence in competition, in the classroom, and in their faith.

Gentleness is not being timid or the absence of power; it is power under appropriate control. It is making the decision to restrain instead of retaliate, correcting without crushing, and lovingly speaking God’s truth whenever necessary. Gentleness comes from being confident in who God is and who He calls us to be.

Boyd-Buchanan School proudly celebrated six senior student-athletes who officially signed to continue their athletic and academic careers at the collegiate level during the 2026 Spring Signing Day. These students represent the dedication, discipline, and excellence that define the Buccaneer athletic program, balancing success in competition, the classroom, and service to others.

February is often a month that focuses on love. We see hearts, cards, candy, and other reminders to care for the people around us. While love can feel like a very broad idea, the Bible often shows us how to love others through kindness.

“Follow me” is one of Jesus’ most powerful invitations, calling believers into a life that requires self-control. As January brings a season of new goals and resolutions, it reminds us that meaningful change, whether in habits, health, faith, or daily living, requires discipline. In the same way, following Jesus invites us to practice self-control as we choose to live intentionally and grow closer to Him.

December is a month filled with lights on houses, on trees, in our classrooms, and all around town. Even though the days are short and it gets dark early, everything feels brighter. That fits well, because Christmas is all about God bringing His light into the world.

Boyd-Buchanan School is proud to announce the addition of Matthew Roberson as Head Baseball Coach and Gene Bowles as Assistant Baseball Coach for the Buccaneer baseball program. Together, they bring an impressive blend of collegiate experience, player development expertise, and a shared passion for shaping student-athletes both on and off the field.
