Madison Butler - Women's Golf
Madison will be attending Milligan University as a member of the Women's golf team and will major in Exercise Science. She is coached by Charlie Troxell of the BBS Women's Golf Team.
She is the daughter of Greg & Abby Butler.
She has a GPA of 4.09.
Madison is a 4-year member of the Lady Bucs Golf Team. In 2023, Madison would become the TSSAA Class A East Region Runner Up while being selected to The Best of Preps Girls Golf Team. She would also win the Chattanooga Jr. Classic as well as the Danny Tribble Junior PGA Tournament. In 2022, Madison would become the District Champion and finish 3rd in the East Regional Tournament. She would finish 2nd in the District in 2021.
The Gibby Scholarship Essay Winner has been on the principal's list throughout her entire high school career. She is the BBS Yearbook editor and a member of FFA and the National Honor Society.
Gavin Green - Men's Golf
Gavin will be attending Truett McConnell University as a member of the golf team. He is coached by Todd Savage and will be majoring in Business.
He is the son of Jeff and Gina Greenson.
He has a GPA of 3.12.
Gavin is a 4-year member of the Bucs Golf team and is a 4-time District 2 Class A Individual Champion from 2019-2023. He is the Boyd-Buchanan record holder of lowest stroke average of 34.75 and lowest match score of 5 under par at 31. Both records were set in 2022.
He is an 8-time Individual Champion on the Chattanooga District Junior Tour and is a multi-time winner of the Chattanooga City Junior Invitational, the Lookout Mountain William Bryan Memorial, the Collegedale Invitational, and the Chattanooga Junior Classic at the Honors.
In 2022, Gavin would also win the Mid-South Tims Ford Open.
Mia Cutler - Women's Soccer
Mia will be attending Berry College as a member of the Women's Soccer Team and will major in Nursing. She is coached by Scooter Armstrong of the Boyd-Buchanan Women's Soccer Team.
She is the daughter of Mark and Stacey Cutler.
She has a GPA of 4.09 and is a member of the National Honors Society and Spanish Honor Society.
Mia is a natural leader and has a strong work ethic, who has come back from a serious knee injury to earn a scholarship to play at the collegiate level. She is an All District and All Region selection and her Junior year help the Lady Bucs to a Final Four appearance and would become an All State selection.
She is a member of HOSA and Outdoors Club at Boyd-Buchanan.
Lily Daniel - Women's Soccer
Lily will be attending Freed-Hardeman University as a member of the Women's Soccer Team and majoring in Exercise Science. She is coached by Scooter Armstrong of the Lady Bucs Soccer Team.
She is the daughter of Brandon and Jennifer Daniel.
Lily is a 4-year member of the Lady Bucs Soccer team and helped lead the team to multiple district and region championships and a Final Four appearance in 2022. In her senior year, she was selected as an All District and All Region selection.
She is a avid exercise enthusiast who as awarded the "Female Lifter of the Year Award" in the Boyd-Buchanan Sports Performance department and is involved in extracurricular activities such as Future Farmers of America, Girls Being Kind Club, and is an officer of HOSA. She currently is the co-editor of the Boyd-Buchanan yearbook.
Philip Collins - Men's Soccer
Philip will be attending Trevecca Nazarene University as a member of the Men's Soccer Team and will major in Physical Therapy. He is coached by Dustin Walker of the Boyd-Buchanan Soccer Team and Mike Sutherland of the Buccaneer Wrestling Team.
He is the son of Tim and Kathleen Collins.
He has a GPA of 3.1 and is on the Honor Roll.
Philip is a 4-year member of the soccer team and was an All-District selection his Freshman-Junior seasons. He has helped lead the BBS soccer team to back-to-back TSSAA State Finals appearances and was an All-State selection in 2022 and 2023. He played football his junior season and was on the wrestling team this past season and finished the season as a Finalist in the State Duals.
Philip is heavily involved in community service as he volunteers at the Dade County Rec Center, Sleep In Heavenly Peace Organization, and is a youth leader at Rising Fawn Methodist Church.
Cole Foster - Lacrosse
Cole will be attending the University of the Cumberlands as a member of their lacrosse team and will major in Biology and Law Enforcement. He is a two-sport athlete and is coached by Gary Rankin of the Football Team and Shawn Robenolt of the BBS Lacrosse Team.
He is the son of Bob and Stephanie Foster.
He is a 4-year member of the Buccaneer Lacrosse and Football Team.
In 2022, Cole helped lead the BBS Lacrosse Team to its first State Championship. In 2023, he was selected to the TSLA East Tennessee All Star.
Cole is a 3-year member of the BBS Rock Band and is an avid guitar player.
Noah Humble - Lacrosse
Noah will be attending Tiffin University as a member of their lacrosse team and will major in Kinesiology. He is a two-sport athlete and is coached by Gary Rankin of the Football Team and Shawn Robenolt of the BBS Lacrosse Team.
He is the son of Stephen and Carol Humble.
Noah has a GPA of 3.83.
He is a 4-year member of the Buccaneer Lacrosse and Football Team.
Noah is a Senior Captain for the BBS Lacrosse Team and a member of the 2022 TSLA State Championship team. He was a 2nd Team All Region selection for the Buccaneer State Finalist Football team this past season.

PJ Donaldson - Football

He is a 4-year member of the Buccaneer Football Team and has run track for 3 years.
He is a versatile and multi-position athlete that played slot, running back, and defensive back throughout his 4-year BBS playing career. He served as team captain and is a member of the 2023 TSSAA State Finalist Team.
Tim Jones, Jr. - Football
Tim will be attending Tennessee Tech University as a member of their football team and will major in Engineering. He is coached by Gary Rankin of the Buccaneer Football Team and Tony Jones of the BBS Track Team.
He is the son of Nadia and Tim Jones, Sr.
Timothy has a GPA of 3.3 and is an Honor Roll student.
He played defensive back and wide receiver for the Buccaneers. Tim is a 2nd Team D2 East All Region selection and a "Catapult Player of the Game." He also served as team captain and is a member of the 2023 TSSAA State Finalist Team.
Gracie Petty - Softball
Gracie will be attending Chattanooga State as a member of their softball team and will major in Radiology. She is coached by Tom Watson of the Lady Bucs Softball Team and Aubrey Wood of the BBS Bowling Team.
She is the daughter of Brad and Ginger Petty.
Gracie has a GPA of 3.45 and is an Honor Roll student.
She is a D2 All District and D2 East All Region selection in softball. She was awarded the Offensive and Defensive MVP for the Lady Bucs.
Gracie is nationally ranked by Extra Innings Softball as the 49th positional at third base and 149th overall. She is a two-year Scenic City All Star selection.
She is a member of the Lady Bucs Bowling team and finished 3rd as a team this past season in the TSSAA State Tournament.
Gracie is a member of the French National Honor Society.
She also coaches for the Fury Softball and Baseball program.
Brooke Watson - Softball
Brooke will be attending Chattanooga State as a member of their softball team and will major in Biomedical Engineering. She is coached by Tom Watson of the Lady Bucs Softball Team and Scooter Armstrong of the BBS Soccer team.
She is the daughter of Jimmy and Lisa Watson.
Brooke has a GPA of 3.91 and is an Honor Roll student.
She is a 2-time D2 All District selection in softball. She is a member of the Lady Bucs Soccer team this past season where she played Goalie.
Brooke is member of the National Honors Society and Key Club President. She is also involved in the Robotics program at Boyd-Buchanan.
Kiley Elliot - Softball
Kiley will be attending Tennessee Tech University as a member of their softball team and will major in Nursing. She is coached by Tom Watson of the Lady Bucs Softball team.
She is the daughter of Paul and Cindy Elliot.
Kiley has a GPA of 3.44 and is an Honor Roll student.
She is a 2-time D2 All District selection in softball. She was also named to the Chattanooga Best of Preps Team last season.
Kiley is a member of the French National Honor Society.
Jonathan Tinker - Baseball
Jonathan will be attending Bryan College as a member of their baseball team and will major in Psychology. He is coached by Stephen Pryor of the Buccaneer Baseball Team.
He is the son of Ledair and Leann Tinker.
He is a 4-year member of the Buccaneer Baseball Team and is a utility player and catcher.
He is a great teammate and a leader who is coachable and puts in the work to be a better player. Coach Pryor says, "he is a coach's dream as he wants to do well and works at the small details to help his team."
Jonathan is also a NSHSS Scholar Award winner.
Cooper Jones - Baseball
Cooper will be attending Lincoln Memorial as a member of their baseball team and will major in Sports Administration. He is coached by Stephen Pryor of the Buccaneer Baseball Team.
He is the son of Chris and Jennifer Jones.
He is a 4-year member of the Buccaneer Baseball Team, and 3-year member of the BBS Basketball team.
He is a versatile and multi-talented athlete as he plays outfield and pitches for the Buccaneer Baseball Team.
Cooper was selected to the D2 All District Baseball Team and All Region selection his Freshman and Junior seasons.
Brodie Johnston - Baseball
Brodie will be attending Vanderbilt University as a member of their baseball team. He is coached by Stephen Pryor of the Buccaneer Baseball Team.
He is the son of Michael and Bridget Johnston.
He is a 4-year member of the Buccaneer Baseball Team, and 3-year member of the BBS Basketball team.
Brodie is a two-time All District selection in his Sophomore and Junior seasons. He is an All Region selection and last season he was selected to the All State Baseball Team.
He is a Perfect Game 1st Team All American and is currently being scouted by several Major League Baseball Franchises for this years upcoming draft.

Molly is a 2-year member of the Lady Bucs Bowling Team. In 2023, Molly placed 6th in the Individual TSSAA Bowling State Championship and was a member of the 2022 State Bowling Finalist Team. She also helped lead the 2023 Lady Bucs to the Final Four. Molly is a 2-time Individual Region Champion and 3-time state qualifier.
Molly is a 3-time Junior Gold National Qualifier, a PBA Jr. Consolation Round Champion, USBC Bowler of the Year, and 2023 Tennessee Miss Bowler Finalist.
She is heavily involved in many extra-curricular activities as a Gamma Beta Kappa member, Boyd-Buchanan musician and Chorus member, and involved with the Signal Mountain Playhouse.

Kenneth Bell - Lacrosse
Kenny will be attending Coker University as a member of the lacrosse team and will major in Pre-Dentistry. He was coached by Gary Rankin this past season in football and Shawn Robenolt in lacrosse.
He is the son of Tiffany Bell.

Kenny was a starter this past season for the BBS football team and 2-year starter for the Buccaneer lacrosse team. He helped lead the BBS Lacrosse Team to its first State Championship in 2022 and recorded a hat trick in that game earning Offensive Player of the Game.

Kamille DeLoach - Majorette Dance Team
Kamille will be attending Fisk University as a majorette and member of the dance team and will major in Biochemistry.

James Nolan - Men's Basketball
James will be attending Bryan College as a member of their Men's Basketball team and will major in Education. He is coached by Josh Templeton of the BBS Basketball Team.

Nate is a 4-year member of the BBS Basketball team. He was the 2022 Region Champion in the 400-meter dash and placed 3rd in the 2022 TSSAA State Track Championship.
Jacob Shockley - Football

Ashley Young - Swimming
Ashley will be attending Berry College as a member of the swim team and will major in nursing. She is coached by Todd Jones on the the Tidal Waves Club Team and Stephen Jones of the BBS Swim Team.
She is the daughter of Will and Lanette Young.
She has a GPA of 4.16 and is a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society.
Ashley is a 4-time qualifier for the State and Southeastern's High School Championships. She is the team captain of BBS Swim Team. Ashley swims for the Tidal Waves Summer Team and received the coaches award as well as the High-point runner up.
She is also a member of the cross-country team where she helped lead the Lady Bucs to their first TSSAA State Cross Country appearance in school history.
Ashley also participated in the school musicals all four years and has led the worship team in chapel.

She is the daughter of Jaysuma and Cassandra Simms.
She has a GPA of 3.94 and is a 2019 Top Scholar, Honor Roll Student, and on the Principal's List. Alauna is a member of the National Honor Society and French Junior Honor Society.
Alauna is a 2019 Eastern Nationals qualifier and a 2020 Level 10 State qualifier. In 1021, she was made team captain, was voted best all around, and as a level 10 qualifier she has 7th in all-around, 5th on vault and bars, and 6th on the floor exercise.
Grant Carlton - Baseball
Grant will be attending King University as a member of the baseball team and will major in Business Management. He is coached by Stephen Pryor of the Boyd-Buchanan baseball team.
He is the son of Keith and Jessica Carlton.
He has a GPA of 3.6 and is a member of the National Honor Society and Honor Roll.
Grant is a 4-year member of the Baseball and Basketball teams at Boyd-Buchanan. He was a prospect in the Best in the US National Event, and had a 0.6 ERA through 42 innings over summer baseball.
Grant haws a strong work ethic, a great teammate, and is a selfless player for the Bucs Basketball and Baseball programs.
JK Walters - Men's Golf
JK will be attending Berry College as a member of the golf team and will major in Biology. He is coached by Todd Savage of the Boyd-Buchanan Golf Team.
He is the son of John and Shannon Walters.
He has a GPA of 4.05 and is a member of the National Honor Society and the National Spanish Honor Society. JK has been on the Principal's List every quarter. He has also been on a Top Scholar throughout his high school career.
JK was a member of the 2019 and 2020 District Championship Boys Golf Teams and was a member of the 2021 District Finalist Team.
Caleb Kelley - Bowling
Caleb will be attending Oklahoma Christian University as a member of their bowling team and will major in Business. He is coached by Aubrey Wood of the BBS Bowling Team and Stephen Pryor of the BBS Baseball Program.
He is the son of Wade and Jaime Kelley.
Caleb has a 4.05 GPA and is a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society. He also is a 2020 Young Writer's Award Winner.
He is a 4-year member of the Boyd-Buchanan Bowling Team and was the team captain. Caleb finished 3rd in the TSSAA D-II Individual State Championships in 2021 and 2022. He was the 2022 East Region Individual Champion and member of the Region Team Championship. In 2021 he made the TN Sports Writers Association, All State Bowling Team, and won the Chattanooga USBC City Tournament, the Southern Scratch Jr. Bowling Association Tournament, and the TN Jr. Road to Gold.
Caleb has served as the sophomore, junior, and senior class president and in 2019 received the Ethos Award from the BBS Faculty. In 2021, he was elected to attend the TN American Legion Boys State and is an active member of the Clear Creek Church of Christ Youth Group.
Pierce Frost - Lacrosse
Pierce will be attending Grand Canyon University as a member of their lacrosse team and will major in Business. He is coached by Chris Richardson of the BBS Lacrosse Team.
He is the son of Stephen and Angela Frost.
Pierce has a 3.7 GPA and has received the Algebra 2 Award.
He is a 4-year member of the BBS Lacrosse program and part of the 2021 Semifinal Team. He is a 2-time All-Region selection and was named Offensive MVP. In 2021, he led all TN Division 2 Independent schools in goals and finished 2nd in points.
Josh Sutton - Lacrosse
Josh will be attending Calvin University as a member of the Lacrosse Team and will major in Cybersecurity. He is coached by Chris Richardson of the BBS Lacrosse Team.
He is the son of Trent and Cathy Sutton.
Josh has a 3.7 GPA and is a member of the National Honor Society and National French Honor Society.
He is a 4-year member of the BBS Lacrosse Program and part of the 2021 Semifinal Team. He is named defensive Captain.
Matthew Malone - Lacrosse
Matthew will be attending Benedictine University as a member of their Lacrosse Team and will major in Business Analytics. He is coached by Chris Richardson of the BBS Lacrosse Team.
He is the son of Jimmy and Teresa Malone.

Colin Richardson - Lacrosse
Colin will be attending Belmont Abbey as a member of their Lacrosse Team and will major in Pre Med. He is coached by Chris Richardson of the BBS Lacrosse Team.
He is the son of Chris and Michelle Richardson.
Colin has a 3.95 GPA and is a member of the Student Council and National Honor Society.
He is a 4-year member of the BBS Lacrosse program and part of the 2021 Semifinal Team. Colin is also a year captain and Iron Horse Award winner and in 2021 was #1 in the State for groundball face-off wins.
Colin has won the Scholar Athlete Award and has taken five Advanced Placement Courses.
Karson Gay - Football
Karson will be attending the University of Virginia as a member of their football team and will major in Commerce. He is coached by Jeremy Bosken of the BBS Football Team and Josh Templeton of the Basketball Program.
He is the son of Kyle and Kristi Gay.
Karson has a 3.68 GPA and is an Honor Roll Student.
He is a 3-Star rated tight end according to Rivals and 247 Sports, #35 tight end in the nation, #21 prospect in the State of Tennessee according to 247 Sports. As a sophomore, Karson had 21 catches for 256 yards and 3 TDs in 5 games. In 2020 and 2021 he was a Preseason All-State Selection and in 2021 was selected to the East/West Allstar Game.
He is a 2-time All Region Selection and a 3 year member of the Boyd-Buchanan basketball team. Karson saved for 2 years on the football team's Leadership Council and is an Eagle Scout.
Colbe Haddox - Football
Colbe will be attending Murray State University as a member of their football team and will major in Sports Management. He is coached by Jeremy Bosken of the BBS football team and Micah Hughes of the track program.
He is the son of Danielle Davenport, Gregory Dixon Jr., and Christopher Haddox.
Cole has a 2.5 GPA and had multiple offers.
He was the 73rd ranked prospect in TN and was a 2021 Preseason All-State Selection and was selected to the East/West All-Star Game. In 2021, he tallied 65 talks, 1 sack, and 2 forced fumbles while rushing for 3 TD's.
Cole is a 2-time All Region selection and in 2020 placed 4th at the TSSAA Track and Field State Championships in Shot-put.
Broderick Grant - Football
Brody will be attending Washington and Lee University as a member of their football team and will major in Pre-Law. He is coached by Jeremy Bosken of the BBS Football Team.
He is the son of Eddie and Robin Grant.
Brody has a 3.86 GPA and received over $400,000 in academic merit scholarships.
He is a 4-year member of the Buccaneer football team and has served as Varsity team captain for 2019, 2020, and 2021 seasons. In 2020, Brody was selected as an All State defensive lineman by the Tennessee Football Coaches Association, and an All State Selection as an offensive lineman by HSFB.com and the TN Writers Association.
In 2021, Brody would be a Preseason All State Offensive Line Selection and was selected as a First Team All Region and All Conference player. He was also selected to be an All State Offensive Lineman by the Tennessee Football Coaches Association.
Brody is the Boyd-Buchanan High School Student Body President and he was elected to serve as the president of the Boyd-Buchanan National Honor Society Chapter. He is the recipient of the BBS Wilderness TREK scholarship and the DAR Good Citizen Award. He was also chosen to serve as a 2021 Ambassador for the American Cancer Society's "Real Men Wear Pink" Campaign.
Brody was also elected to the City of Chattanooga and Mayor Tim Kelly's Youth Council.
Jalisa Sanders - Women's Basketball
Jalisa will be attending Bryan College as a member of the Women's Basketball Team and will major in pre therapy and allied health. She is coached by Tracey Walker of the BBS Women's Basketball Team.
She is the daughter of Pamela Davis and Johnnie Lee Sanders.
She has a GPA of 3.3.
Jalisa is a 2-year member of the Lady Bucs Basketball Team where she was the team captain this past season. Jalisa led the team in Assists, Rebounds, and Steals this past season while leading the team to a State Tournament appearance.
In 2021, she was selected to the TN/GA All-Star game, Region All Tournament team, and was voted by opposing district coaches as the "District Player of the Year."
She was also a member of the NACA Division 2 Championship Team and was honored as the "Player of the Game."
Kaitlyn Pope - Women's Soccer
Kaitlyn will be attending Johnson University as a member of the women's soccer team and will major in Exercise Science. She is coached by Todd Ledbetter of the BBS Women's Soccer Team.
She is the daughter of Shaun and Crystal Pope.
She has a GPA of 3.76 and is a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society.
Kaitlyn is a 5-year starter for the Lady Bucs Soccer Team and was a 4-year member of the BBS women's basketball team. During her soccer career, Kaitlyn had more than 1,000 saves and posted 28 shutouts.
She was named the team "MVP" her sophomore year and is a 2-time All District and All Region selection. Kaitlyn also was selected to the All State team and helped to lead the team to 2 District Titles, 1 Region Title, and 3 State Quarterfinal appearances.
Kaitlyn is also a Tennessee Soccer State Cup Finalist and a member of the USA Southeast Soccer Club.
Ria Cox - Women's Soccer
Ria will be attending the University of North Alabama as a member of the women's soccer team and will major in Business. She is coached by Todd Ledbetter of the Boyd-Buchanan women's soccer team.
She is the daughter of Mitchel and Haven Cox.
She has a 3.79 GPA and is a member of the National Honor Society.
Ria is a 4-year member of the BBS women's soccer team where she was a 2-time All District and All Region selection who had 24 goals and 21 assists in her Boyd-Buchanan career. She also was selected to the All-State Team and assisted to lead the team to 2 district titles, 1 region title, and 3 State Quarterfinal appearances.
Ria was the team captain for the Nomads Soccer Club and is currently a member of the Chattanooga Red Wolves Women's Team.
She has served as President for the FFA, been a leader with GBK, and volunteered at the Hart Gallery the past 3 years.
Malachi Powell - Football
Malachi will be attending Cumberland University as a member of the football team and will major in Business. He was coached by Jeremy Bosken this past season.
He is the son of Kemma Branch and Derek and Amie Lusk.
Malachi is a versatile and valuable member of the football team where he played multiple positions.
He had over 800 All-Purpose Yards with 6 touchdowns and totaled 36 tackles with 2 tackles for a loss and 6 interceptions.
Malachi is a BBS Defensive Skill Award winner and Most Outstanding Player winner.
Cam Park - Men's Soccer
Cam will be attending Berry College as a member of their soccer team and will major in Nursing. He is coached by Dustin Walker of the BBS Soccer Team.
He is the son of Justin and Amy Park.
Cam has a 4.0 GPA and is a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society.
He is a 4-year member of the BBS Soccer Team and part of the 2021 TSSAA Spring Fling Semifinal Team.
Currently, he serves as Team Captain.
Cam is a 2-time All District and All Region selection. He is a former Division 2 District 2 MVP and an All State selection.
Ben Hauke - Men's Soccer
Ben will be attending Berry College as a member of their soccer team and will major in Business. He is coached by Dustin Walker of the BBS Soccer Team.
He is the son of Matt and Cindy Hauke.
Ben has a 4.12 GPA and is a member of the National Honor Society as well as the National Spanish Honor Society.
He is a Top Scholar Award winner as well as a Young Southern Writers winner. He has also been recognized for a Personal Finance Award.
Ben is a 4-year member of the BBS Soccer Team and part of the 2021 TSSAA Spring Fling Semifinal Team.
Currently, he serves as a Team Captain.
Ben is a All District, All Region, and All State selection and plays on the Chattanooga Red Wolves ECNL Soccer Team.
