Meet Jeff Ingram

BBS Pastor Jeff Ingram

For the past 16 years, Jeff Ingram has been the campus minister at Boyd Buchanan School. Jeff also teaches Bible at Boyd Buchanan, regularly leads chapel, heads up the BBS spiritual theme committee, and leads our annual mission trip to the City of Children in Ensenada, Mexico.

Jeff graduated from Freed-Hardeman University with a B.A. in Bible, and received his Master of Arts in Religion from Lipscomb University.

Jeff is married to BBS alum, Dawn Davenport ’84, and they have four sons who have all attended Boyd Buchanan.

When he is not guiding, teaching or ministering to students at BBS, Jeff enjoys getting his whole family together, playing guitar and engaging in almost any outdoor activity.

Meet Aubrey Wood

BBS Pastor Jeff Ingram

We are excited to welcome Aubrey Wood as our new campus minister! President Hartness and Jeff Ingram approached Aubrey initially and asked him to help reimagine the school’s campus ministry position. The more they talked about what the position could look like, the more Aubrey felt drawn to the position. Jeff Ingram, our long-time campus minister, still plays a vital role in the spiritual formation of young people at BBS. About Jeff, Aubrey said, “I have known, loved, and trusted Jeff for about 15 years. Him being excited about me joining the Boyd family was one of the biggest selling points to me jumping on board. Jeff walks me through each thing I’m doing in campus ministry- ESPECIALLY this first year.”

Aubrey has 15 years of experience as a full-time youth minister, with a Masters in Youth & Family Counseling from Lipscomb. We are excited to see how he uses his unique skills and experiences to encourage the faith and personal growth of all our students, from PreK to seniors. Aubrey has already brought in many interesting and diverse speakers and perspectives for middle and high school chapels. He’s also expanding the options for menu chapel, where students have the opportunity to choose between several different chapel experiences. He has also spearheaded a High School Beach Retreat where students will spend four days listening to speakers, engaging in worship, and fostering community in Panama City Beach over MLK weekend. Originally the trip was open to only 55 students, but the online registrations exploded to over 100 in less than 24 hours due to overwhelming interest from students. He is also active in speaking and planning our elementary school chapels, as well as spending time with them and encouraging relationships between elementary school students and his senior campus ministry interns/student aides, Hannah Ray and Tyler Young. We are excited to see the relationships Aubrey is fostering on campus and the doors those open for our students’ relationships with Christ.
